It’s Release Day!

And if you haven’t already left a rating for one of the previous books, now would be a great time as marketing and interest ramps up around the release.

I appreciate all the support, as well as the patience of Shadow Saga fans. It’s been a LONG, LONG time since Shadow Heart’s release, so I do want to take a second to address the elephant in the proverbial room, which is what you can expect in terms of wait for Book 5.

How Long?

As always, life happens unexpectedly, so take my optimism with a grain of salt, but Book 5 is way ahead of where Book 4 was in terms of planning at the time of its predecessor’s release. It will the FINAL book in the mainline Shadow Saga, so it has that going for it. Many of the scenes that will make up the final novel have already been in my head for years (decades? Yes, I guess I started this journey in 2003). There is going to be so much content, it will likely be longer than Book 4.

I’m going to be following the same writing schedule that worked in finally getting Shadow Empire out the door, and my goal is to have the first draft completed sooner rather than later. While I can’t give any definitive guarantees, I don’t think it’s going to be a multi-year wait for this one. I’ll have more details about all this in the coming days/weeks.
