Well friends it’s a day I wasn’t sure would ever come, but I can officially announce that Part 4 of the Shadow Saga is complete and will release on Thursday, February 1st, 2024! Shadow Empire will pick up where Part 3 left off, with Grace Sawyer leading a growing coalition against the World System as she tries to win the war without losing her soul. And of course, that cliffhanger at the end of the last book leads to some major changes for the characters as they deal with new and old threats around the world.
Shadow Empire is the longest book in the series to date, at 165k words and 667 pages. Book 3 was the longest before this and was right at 140k words.
There are 3 major divisions in the book, like each of its predecessors. The divisions are named:
- Killswitch
- New World Rising
- Apotheosis
In preparation for this release the covers for the first 3 books have been refreshed. While still keeping the grunge, color-themed look, the hope is that this refresh will help draw more eyes and interest to the series. I also took the opportunity to go through and make some light revisions focused on improving readability and correcting a few errors. No story elements were changed.
If you are a fan and love this story, tell people about it. Buy the books for friends and family so maybe they will in turn tell more people. And please, please, please, leave a rating or review on Amazon. Next to sales, good reviews are probably the most valuable return a book can get. And these days, if you don’t want to write anything, you can just add your stars. I would SO appreciate it, especially on books 2 and 3, as numbers for those are sparse.
